Product Overview

GrabMax® Ionic Adsorbent Series

產品概覽

GrabMax® Ionic Adsorbent is a series of advanced inorganic adsorption additives with excellent selectivity and adsorption performance for different impurity ions. Through specific ion exchange reactions, GrabMax® efficiently captures free ions in material systems, helping reduce the extraction of corrosive ions from epoxy resins and related precision materials.

It is widely used in IC epoxy encapsulation materials, FPC adhesives, solar encapsulation materials, anti-corrosion coatings and other high-reliability material systems.

Technical Rationale

Why Ion Control Matters in Electronic Materials

離子控制在電子材料中的重要性

Ionic impurities are a critical reliability concern in precision electronic material systems. Understanding the risks helps drive informed material selection.

Risk Factor 01

Corrosive Ion Leaching

Free impurity ions may migrate or leach from resin systems, affecting long-term material stability and increasing the risk of component failure over time.

Risk Factor 02

Wiring Corrosion Risk

In fine electronic wiring and FPC systems, ionic impurities may increase corrosion and reliability risks, potentially causing circuit degradation or open circuits.

Risk Factor 03

Reliability Degradation

Controlling impurity ions helps improve electrical insulation, durability and long-term reliability in demanding electronic packaging and coating environments.

Halogen Ion Capture in Epoxy Resin

GrabMax® NL-002 can be added into epoxy resin systems to capture halogen ions and reduce bromide ion concentration in extracted water. Compared with systems without ion adsorbent, the addition of NL-002 helps reduce Br⁻ ion concentration and improve material reliability.
